Hi there! I’m Ilana Zeffren, a comics artist from Tel Aviv. In 2005 I published “Pink Story”, a graphic novel telling the story of the gay and lesbian community in Israel and my own autobiographical story. Since then I’ve published comics strips and stories in newspapers, magazines and literature anthologies. Between 2006 and 2013, I wrote and drew “Rishumon”, a personal column in comics, in “City Mouse” – a local entertainment magazine. A collection of the columns was published in a book in 2014. These days I’m doing a weekly caricature starring my two cats – Rafi and Spageti in “Haaretz” weekend magazine (“Musaf Haaretz”) and this comics blog in Haaretz website.
